Kong: Olive dear, our readers might wonder why we consider January 2nd the best day or the year. Care to explain?
Olive: At first the sparkly lights and spice filled air seems fun and by September 25th I am sick of it. Also, consumerism, familia guilt, overindulgence, forced frivolity, huge deflated Santa Clauses in yards and unbearable travel conditions.
Kong: That about sums it up, my friend. Let us toast January 2nd and enjoy this holiday free moment.
